What does THE WINE GROUP Own?
The Wine Group was founded by Arthur A. Ciocca in New York City, New York in 1981. It was created when Coca-Cola, which owned Franzia Wine, Mogen David, and Tribuno Wine, wanted to divest from its wine business, and Coccia, Franzia’s owner, purchased the brands in a leveraged buyout. It is now one of the largest wine companies in the world.
