SCHEID FAMILY WINES

What does SCHEID FAMILY WINES Own?

Scheid Family Wines was founded in Greenfield, California in 1972 by Al Scheid. The company was originally known as Monterey Farming Corporation, and began as a tax shelter for Scheid, since at that time he could use the heavy investment of planting grapes to offset his income as an investment banker. In 1986, his son Scott joined the company, followed by his daughter Heidi in 1989, and the company was renamed to Scheid Family Wines.
