Coldstream Hills Winery was founded in Coldstream, Victoria in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday. In 1996, the brand was purchased by Southcorp. Southcorp was purchased by Foster’s Group in 2005. In 2011, Foster’s split its wine holdings into a new company, which they called Treasury Wine Estates.
