Toasted Head Wine was introduced by RH Phillips Wine in Yolo County, California in 1995. In 2000, RH Phillips was acquired by Canadian wine company Vincor International for $95 million. They in turn were purchased by Constellation Brands in 2006 for $1.227 billion Canadian. In 2019, Constellation sold Toasted Head and 29 other brands to E & J Gallo Winery for $1.7 billion.
