St. Hubert’s Winery was founded in Coldstream, Victoria in 1862 by Charles Hubert de Castella. It was eventually purchased by New Zealan manufacturing company Goodman Fielder Wattie, which sold the brand to Rothbury Wines in 1992, just as Rothbury was going public. In 1996, Fosters Group purchased the brand from Rothbury, and when Fosters split off its wine division in 2011, St Hubert’s became part of the newly formed Treasury Wine Estates.
